Foreigners Working in Home Services

The conditions for foreigners working in domestic services to receive a work permit are different. First of all, the employer should submit to the Ministry documents on why the households need employment of foreign personnel and the financial power to pay the foreigner's salary and insurance premium. Household employers who have the financial strength to meet these conditions and who deserve to hire foreign personnel will be able to apply. In order to be able to apply, a residence permit term of at least six months is required. The six-month residence permit for aliens who do not have that, in their country of residence to which they are nationals or

• Health board report is requested for patient care.

• Elderly care is required to have passed 65 years of age.

• For the child care, the conditions of the family, the income and the age of the child are taken into consideration.

For male foreigners, it is desirable to prove that the patient or the elderly requires serious care.
